I’m Anna, a thirty-something former Londoner now living in Hertfordshire with my husband. A decade ago I decided I wanted to a creative outlet and started a blog which to cut a very long story short leads you to being on this site, and me writing this bio.

This website is a place for me to discuss and share my interests in beauty, home and style.
It’s a collection of my thoughts when trying and testing products as I come to find them. I really value the community I have and try to create content that’s as useful for them to read as it is for me to write. I’m not a dermatologist, nor do I hold any qualification - but if I’m recommending it you can trust I’ve done enough research to wear or use it myself.
I use affiliate links where possible to monetise my writing and will always stipulate when content is in partnership with a select brand or business.
Monday through Friday…
I run a couple of small businesses; one in marketing (One Roof Social) and one making beaded jewellery with my sister (Marche des Perles).
Having come from working in large organisations, to venture capital businesses which invested in the “next big thing,” I’m passionate about the strength of SMEs (small to mid size enterprises) and really believe in the “small and mighty.”

I share more of my day to day on Instagram and also have an interiors account. You can subscribe to my newsletter which whilst I plan to have as a monthly collation of my content, can’t promise it’ll always be on time — I can however promise a very succinct list of discounts for Black Friday which I’ve done for the last 4 years, donating half the revenues to a chosen charity.
